It was a delight for South Superstar Rajinikanth’s fans, as he made his first appearance, after being discharged from the hospital. The legend was seen gracing the bhoomi puja ceremony hosted by his son-in-law and actor Dhanush before the construction work for his home sweet home commenced. The Kolaveri Di famed actor will soon be moving to the Poes Garden area which is one the costliest neighbourhoods in Chennai. Rajinikanth was seen with his wife Latha and relatives attending the puja in traditional attire.

Dhanush too was seen interacting with people also dressed in traditional attire. Pictures of Bhoomi puja have gone viral, thus proving to be a treat for his fans. For the uninitiated, the senior actor was hospitalised in December 2020, after he complained of fluctuation in his blood pressure. Followed by his discharge from the hospital he did not make any public appearance and hence his presence at Dhanush’s Bhoomi puja grabbed a lot of attention. In the picture, Dhanush was seen performing the puja.

On the professional front, the legendary actor is reported to resume the shoot of his film, Annaatthe in March 2021, as the film is set to release on November 4, 2021. The film revolves around the rapport of brother and sister.

Meanwhile, Dhanush has completed filming for 2 projects Maari Selvaraj's Karnan and Bollywood movie Atrangi Re helmed by Aanand L Rai starring Akshay Kumar and Sara Ali Khan. Besides this, his yet another movie Jagame Thanthiram is ready for its release.
